... but this one was just too good not to share.

Zin: Hi and welcome to (telemarketing company), how may I help you today?
Caller: Hi, I was looking at your website and I would love to work for you so I'm wondering if you have any open positions right now?
Zin: Oh, so you looked at the site? On the front page, there's a big link that will take you to a list of all the postitions we have open at the moment.
Caller: Yeah, I saw that. So, do you have anything?
Zin: Did you look at the list? You can create an account on the webpage, upload your résumé and apply for the positions you're interested in. It's very user friendly but if you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them.
Caller: All my previous employers have appreciated me calling to talk to them in person so I'd like to talk to your HR manager, please.
Zin: Okay, I'm sorry but we get so many job applications every day that it's impossible for her to talk to everyone. Just create an account and submit your application to the website and we will get back to you.
Caller: All my other employers have appeciated me calling first! I'm sure she'll want to talk to me so just transfer me.
Zin: I'm afraid that's not possible, sir. She's asked me to direct all job inquiries to the website we have set up for that purpose. I can help guide you through the process if you'd like.
Caller: So, can you give me the number to her direct line?
Zin: Um... no. She has a very busy schedule and she simply doesn't have the time to take calls from job applicants. You need to understand that we get over a hundred job applications every week. It's impossible for her to talk to everyone individually. If you have a specific question about a job, you can send an e-mail or leave a note in your application and someone will get back to you.
Caller: Okay. I'll just call back some other time and hope I get to talk to someone more helpful than you.

Zin: Bwuh?

Soo... failing to follow simple instructions, not understanding the word 'no' and being generally rude. Good luck getting that job, buddy.

work things, wtf?, stupid customer of the day
