Gaze upon my triumphant background! Sam ressurected it for me! Isn't Al adorable? I wish I could see Shanbala o yukumono, but I'm not going to Japan this summer, and since american translations suck hard, I refuse to watch it in anything but japanese.
I just read the first english manga of Hagaren, it sucked. Ed's pocket watch is silver. Anyone who cannot distinguish the Kanji for Gold and silver sould be sent to the firing squad. Also, almost no attempt was made by the translators to maintain the original speech patterns. The way the characters talk reflect so much about them in this series. If the manga ends anything like the anime, and its not a battle of power or wit but the goodness in people or lack thereof then this translation should be sent to an early grave.
On a happier note, I finished my own manga script. I only have the last few pages with me as there is only one complete copy in the world. I lent The rest of it to someone to read; however, I don't think they'll ever get to it. The reason why I deleted the rest of it is because there are two trans-gender people in it. Should my Dad ever come across this story, he might just kill me.
