which according to lj was when my last post was, so here's what's happened since:
Finished classes, B's all around except for Math, which stunningly was a A-. Yay me.
Got new practicum placement, Montrose school grade 1. Should be interesting...
finalized vacation plans, leaving on the 19th, seeing Liz on the 25th! Although still not sure how we're getting to Niagara...the internet is starting to befuddle me.
My home was broken into and all my jewelry stolen. Also my wallet, purse, coat and bass guitar.
Gained and lost several coworkers. Not lost really, they just quit. Or stopped showing up in some cases. The job market is a revolving door right now. Those of us who remain went bowling last night. It was fun, but I suck at it.
My mom got a kitten, a teeny, tiny kitten, which was kitten-sat for for a week. It is a baby, less then a month so it required hand feeding and everything. It's a lot of work having a baby. Here is Keith holding him. His name is Samuel.
And here is Sam making a foray into big boy food. Unfortunetly it is Timmy's big boy food, and if only we'd got a pic of Tim's reaction. He was surprised and not pleased.
Our theory is he was trying to eat by osmosis; he knew the food had to get into his tummy somehow...
And here's one of him attacking my hand, just to show how small he is and his pretty blue eyes.
In some related news, Sam now has worms. Mom is still going to take Tim for us while we're away, so I hope the deworming meds kick in fast.
Keith got a promotion at work, so more money, Yay! And a lot more work. It feels like I hardly see him anymore...But it is alright too, it's just rough right now while he's settling into whatever shift he's on. They keep working him open and close alternatingly and he gets very tired. Last night he got home at 12 and was up and out at 3am.
I got my hair recoloured so now I am blond-y. It is not bad for a summer look.
Wow, that's really about all that's happened. I will try and update more frequently so all those interesting little tidbits that I can't remember now will be preserved in the immortality of the internet for all to read.
Miss you peoples.
