I'm alive.... I think.
I've just been sporadic with my online stuff... because we have a new baby in the house. (!)
Yup, she's here. She's even a she, so our ultrasound technician's reputation is saved. Daddy gets the credit for predicting the day though- all the joking about Cait Danielle coming on 6/6/06 paid off. Either that or she's a daddy's girl.
In short, I decided there was no real reason to stay home at about 12:15am on the 6th, and cHris and I went to the hospital, arriving in the Labor and Delivery department at about 1am. Apparently this was the trigger my body was waiting for, as it decided the baby could come out now. Upon arrival I was about halfway done dilating, but Cait was delivered at 2:18am, much quicker than the other two. In fact, I asked afterward if I was even admitted to the hospital before I delivered. The doctor had been in the room about 3 minutes, and I'd been trying not to push so that she could get there, or Cait may have come at about 2.
It was awkward leaving L&D, since I'd only been there about 3 hours and had practically just met all the nurses. I was waving goodbye and saying hello at the same time.
I got myself fixed the next day, so we will not be doing this again. :) We are happy with Cait, who has been a rather easy baby so far (much like big brother). It won't be easy in a few years when we have two kids with birthday parties on the same day- but the kids are 5 years apart and opposite gender. OY. Cait doesn't get a party for a while, I think.

Is home doing fine, recovering from some jaundice. Mom and Dad are doing pretty well, mostly because she is sleeping well at night. Caedmon is thrilled, especially when she opens an eye in his direction. Celes seems to accept that the "bah-bee" is here to stay, and always looks happy to see her. That's about all I can ask.
*it should be noted that Caedmon was born on 6/6/01, at 1:33am. That's pretty wild to me. It also makes Celes the odd one out as she was born in January at 7:31 pm.
