Birthday and things
I realized that I haven't been posting here as often as I should. It's not right, I say! Anyways, I hope all of you had a wonderful food filled thanksgiving, and a shoptastic black friday (AKA, my birthday!!!).
Here I am on my actual birthday. I had a wonderful pre-birthday party at the Magic Castle, in hollywood. It's a private fancy club filled with magic! I wish I could show you photos, but this wasnt allowed. Kyle sit up the party, Ari and Julie came with! I wish all of my friends could have joined, but it was the night before thanksgiving, and everyone had plans.
Here is my birthday cat photo, with lovely Sparkle. Kyle met Sparkle for the first time on thanksgiving, he fell instantly in love, and said he was leaving me for her! I finally found my crazy cat man to match my crazy cat lady ways. SWOON!
Here I am waiting for Kyle at his place, he was out shopping for me, so I took some photos with his kittens. Kyle has two cats, this is just one of them, Chibi! You may have heard of Stephiee talk and post photos of our friend Jamie (the owner of JapanLA) cat by the same name....the truth is....SHE STOLE THAT CAT NAME FROM KYLE! There, the truth is out!!!!
With Chibi under a blanket from Peru Kyle got from his roomie from a recent trip. haha Chibi is clearly out favorite of his two cats....Okay, that sounds bad, and its not true! It's just that his other kitty, Little One, is too crazy and hates being held.
for christmas I am going up to the Bay area with Kyle to spend a week with his family. I am more than a little nervous about this. His step sisters are models, dancers, cheerleaders and well...everything I'm not...its silly, and I know I shouldn't care, but they have very different values than I do, and I don't like the idea of being judged for my hair, clothing, weight, or the fact that I'm not Chinese (Kyle comes from a long line of chinese, he's 7th generation, if we ever married, I would be the first non-asian woman in the family). Kyle dislikes most of his family, except for his father and only real sister. Still, it bothers me-This is only because I'm still not confident in myself as much as I should be. Kyle loves me for who i am now, what i look like now and so on...this should be enough for me, however, this is all easier said than done.
