a Night with Princess J
Alright, so I have the pleasure of paying $150 to meet Johnny Weir last Sunday, at the amazing Sowden House! zebrastarr and I went to this event, dressed in our best fancy outfits! We where told that this event was to be "Cocktail or business attire only"....but as you can see, we out-fabuloused everyone else.
And zebrastarr said to me: "You know whats funny? We aren't even gay, but we are the gayest ones here."

ALRIGHT! SO here's the story, bb's. As soon as we walked in, the gays where like "WHAT!" and we became the talk of the party.
The two of us where bummed because their was NOT ONE sparkle on anyone else but us! Half the people where wearing jeans. JEANS. GAYS, YOU DISAPOINT.
There wasnt much going on, and Johnny was being mobbed (also Sundance was there filming...SEASON TWO?!), so we decided to give him a rest, and took some photos of the place:
we found this, so naturally this happened:
I MEAN, HOW COULD WE NOT?
"OH, THE OMLETS WE SHALL MAKE."
In the office type room I found this, hidden:
cthulhu for the win! sooo out of place and thats what makes this find even more epic.

There is a lot to say about the photo. First off, this is how the inside of the house is, all rooms have one entry and one exit, facing the pool. as you can see on the other side, there are no visable doors to any of the rooms. This house is very open, it's like nothing I have ever seen!

Secondly, I didn't mean to take a photo of the family with the young boy, but I am happy I did. That little boy was dragged to this event by his parents. He's 9 years old, and a figure skater. He had NO IDEA Johnny was going to be there, his parents set it up to surprise him, and he freaked out when he met him, it was super cute! I wish my parents would have done something epic like that for meeee!
Soon after we got there, The head of the EQCA talked a bit about what bills they are supporting this year in the election, what events are coming up, etc...He also made some beautiful comments about Johnny. So endearing, zebrastarr cried! Aww.
here's my favorite quote: "When parents raise their children to be who they are, we get greatness, we get johnny weir"
then there was a long pause after the eqca head left the sage. then a woman's scream. we where like ".....WHAT?!" but then there was a bunch of laughter that came from back of the stage. My theory? Tara got attacked by Johnny. TRUEFAX.
Anyways, the Sawn came out:
He talked about how IF he wanted to marry a man or a woman(who you kiddin bb?) he should have the right too. He also talked about how amazing his parents are (big ups to patty and john!) and so on.

"The world is a ugly place, and we-us right here, make this world fucking beautiful."
UM SO TRUE. Can you image how drab the world would be with out the gays? Ugh, I don't even want to think about it anymore!
I tried to find a video of this speech, because I saw some people recording it, instead I found this little number:
Johnny and the EQCA head spoke a lot about the things discussed in the video, and how upsetting and socially irresponsible it is for an athlete to be diluted down to the "fun, fab, crazy one!"
Anyways, after his speech, we waited in line to meet him, while we waited we snagged Tara!
Tara is fucking HOT. She's ten times more beautiful than this picture and what you see on TV. trust. She has boobs for days too. When I saw her, the first thing I could think of was to say "TARA!!!" and honestly, I didnt know I said it out loud. So when she turned to look at me, the only think I could think to follow up was "you....are so....MAGICAL!"
to which everyone around me laughed, and Tara replied "oh, no I'm not!"
YES YOU ARE.
Anyways, we met this cool guy named chris who actually knows Johnny. He snagged Johnny away from some boring gay guy (chris's words: "I'm going to get Johnny over here because he's talking to that old queen. I hate him!"). Chris intro'd us as "Johnny, come and meet the pink ladies!"
I can't tell you what happened next, it's a blur. I do remember him looking at us, smiling and saying things like "woaaah, woaah! look at you, so fab! omg, i love it!"
We gave him a gift at this time, this photo isn't of the one we gave him, the one we gave him was multi blue bracelets (cuz blue is man's man color) with a charm on each one. a pink staking boot, snowflake, and tea cup.
At first he was completely taken back, he said "no...seriously? you guys, you shouldnt have, i dont derseve..."
he shut him up quickly and told him for all the joy he has brought us he does derseve it!
he loved the bracelet!
Then we took photos
everything you hear about him is true. His skin is flawless, he is kind, funny and respectful of everyone, even the lowly fans!
I got creepy and told zebrastarr to take a photo of is bag. so, there you go, this was his bag for the night:
then we stood there. it was over. we didn't know what to do...it was so fast....so...WE WENT BACK FOR MORE!!!

haha before this happened, i yelled to johnny "we are like...best friends now, right?!!!"(so much verbal diarrhea on this night for me)
He smiled and said "yes! total BFF's!"
OMGIDIE.
I also remembered one thing out of my many questions/statements for Johnny I meant to ask (I blanked when I met him, I wanted to ask about the following: season 2 for be good? adam lambert is a pretty sexy guy, no? do you have tickets for Lady Gaga-if not I have an extra one!! are you really not supporting Evan on DWTS, dont liiiie!)
the statement I did remember was about zebrastarr! She's a photographer, and I made her give Johnny her card. zebrastarr said: "I wanted to give this too you, but I didn't want to be weird..."
Johnny: "oh my gosh, no! I want to..." a pause "I want to be PINK!" as he says this the motions his hands all over his body. We are not sure what he means about being 'pink' but we both promised we would make it happen. who knows if he'll follow up with the shoot.
After this, zebrastarr shows Johnny her New Jersey state pride tattoo. It's a tattoo of the actual state. Johnny totally loves it and then studies the tat before saying "I live...HERE!" and touches an area on her tattoo. Damn bitch is lucky as shit. I don't have any tats, and this instant made me want to get inked a quickly as possible.
After this, Johnny left the party. we where the last people to speak with him, and he seemed to really like us-or at least he made us think he did! We where feeling good! The Sowden House was one of the America's Next Top Model homes, sooo....

I also have Mirai Nagasu signing a plush animal as well. in honor of her mother, I want the proceeds to go to cancer research. I am not sure how high to start of the auction, I would like serious input on the matter!!!
