So I laid down for a nap today and had the most wonderful dream. When I dream they are vivid, so much so that I'm often confused when I wake up as to whether or not they are real.
I was at a K-9 field (my father was a k-9 officer and I spent alot of time there as a kid, not really that unusual.) Somehow I was talking to this man, but I can't remember his face, I just remember that he was blonde, and about 6 feet tall, lean. My friend Heather Bailey was there, who is this girl I was very close to in high school but honestly haven't talked to in about 3 1/2 years. Inside the K-9 field, which was sunk in the ground and surrounded by chain link fence, there was a small red brick building. Apparently this man lived there. Shelli was asleep inside. I remember thinking that this man was inherently good as I talked to him, like he was a truely good person. It was Christmas time, and it wasn't cold. We laid outside and looked at the stars and talked. Both Shelli and Heather got in some kind of trouble (it's fading, as dreams do) but he came to their rescue. I remember it was like cinderella, a clock struck somewhere and he had to leave. But as he left he touched my hand and I couldn't remember ever being as happy or as warm as those two seconds his hand was on mine. Then he flew away (in a plane not with his arms.
Anyway, I woke up from my nap feeling very happy and content, yet with a little bit of emptiness, like there was a peice of me with him when he left. Strange, but one of the best dreams i've ever had. I can't explain how it made me feel. The happiness was so strong you could almost touch it. Then I had a flying dream, which I can't remember ever happening. It was the same dream, I was just flying above the city. It was beautiful, at night. They say that you have these dreams when you feel in control of a situation. That's a good thing :)
