There's this guy that I work with. And don't worry Kayla, there is no way I am going to let it go anywhere because that would be stupid. But anyway, there is this guy that works with me and he's really cute. Which is wierd, not that he's cute, but that I think he's cute because I'm not usually attracted to Asian boys. But wierder things have happened. He's cute and he's funny and tonight we both got off at the same time. He got out of the store a few minutes before me because he works on the floor and I had to cash out my till. When I was walking towards my bus stop he was at one of the ones I have to pass to get to mine. I was having a cigarette because I had just gotten off work and that's normally when I need one. When I got up to him I said hi and stopped for a second and he was like "I didn't know you smoked, you naughty girl." Which is more funny to me because the first shift we worked together we had break at the same time and we both were outside having a smoke. And then the best part was that he called me a goddess because I gave him a cigarette from my pack. It mad my shitty night at work totally worth it.
And I had this older Irish customer tonight call me love. Which always makes me smile. I love when older customers call me nicknames.
I saw my dad today. It was really awesome. We had lunch together, and then we drove around the city for a couple of hours because I had time to kill before I had to be at work and he didn't want to spend the afternoon with his parents. I don't blame him. But he's being stupid. I think he is trying to alienate as many people in his family as possible so that he doesn't have to spend time with them. Although I understand where he's coming from this time. When someone asks you if Saturday or Sunday would be a better day for the upcoming family event and then they completely ignore that you said Saturday and they put it on Sunday, I would be pissed off too. It's not like it's an easy trip for him to make. It's a 12 hour drive that he has to do because he had to get one of his cars back from a friend who had it hear. It wouldn't matter if he was flying. But seriously. Who wants to drive 12 in one day when they're doing it by themseleves? Not me, that's for damn sure. So tomorrow he's leaving at 4:30 even if it is going to piss people off. Oh my father, the dipolomat.
He also did something that made me kind of mad. He put $200 into my bank account without telling me. Just because. He acts like a total mizer when it comes to money and then he randomly gives it to me. It's disconcerting. And I worry about money and how much my parents DON'T have. I know my dad is better off then he likes people to think he is, but it doesn't stop me from worrying. He also bought me my birthday present. So what if it's October and my birthday was in June? Actually, I don't. He bought me this speaker set thing for my iPod. It's awesome because it charges it was well while it's playing so I only have to hook the iPod up to the computer when I want to import songs. Very cool.
Me and Luke have officially moved from exes to friends. He invited me to go to the bar with him and some people last night. I said not because I wanted to sleep. Which was mostly the truth. I had also just bought the second season of Grey's Anatomy on DVD and I wanted to watch that more than I wanted to go out and get drunk. But next time someone offers, no matter how crappy I am feeling I am going to say yes. Why? Because yesterday the fire alarm in my building went off not once, but twice. The first time was just after 5pm, so it wasn't so bad because I had been planning on going to dinner soon anyway so it gave me an excuse while we waited for the fire department to check out the building. That was stupid because we all knew that someone had severely burnt a bag of popcorn on the 2nd floor. But whatever, we went for dinner. The second time it went off was not so much fun. It was at 11pm, I had just gotten comfortable in bed and was in the middle of a VERY good episode. Luckily, I had the presence of mind to grab my cigarettes before I left my room so I could do something instead of standing around freezing to death (I don't care what you say Midge, it gets fucking COLD up on the mountain at night). So yeah, we had to go through the whole debacle again. You could tell that the Fire Department was NOT happy to be called up to campus, up to the same building TWICE in ONE DAY. So yeah, never saying no to a bar invitation again.
It feels wierd being home this early. Normally I'm waiting at the train station for a bus right now, but tonight I've been home for almost an hour. I kind of like it.
