Ish mah birrrday!!!!
Well, I am now officially 17 years old. I can now walk into rated R movies without worry. Provided I paid for my ticket. Today's been pretty good. I didn't end up in tears like last year or anything! Haha, well, let me elaborate more on today. Really, the worst thing about my day was the fact that it was a Gold Day. Had it not been my birthday, today probably wouldn't have been much fun.
Anywho, I got bombarded with a many "HAPPY BIRTHDAY IZZY!!"'s. Especially from Celina, how made it a point to say it over and over throughout the day. Thanks Celz. Jords gave me this card(?) thing. Quite cute. I read it multiple times.
They sang for me in English class.
Went out to lunch with Hadley, her treat, and had SO much fun.
Came to robed choir, where we got to sit around most of the time. Brook and I talked of drawing on Kelsey's face while she was sleeping. Also, Matt sang a serenating version of happy birthday to me. Well done, Matt. And then choir also sang to me sorta kinda. Eubank wasn't there to actually MAKE everybody sing. Also, Korrie posing as my secret santa gave me two candybars and had a sign over my box that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY IZZY!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then I had 8th hour. Oohh 8th hour...
Well, after that, I didn't hafta go to rehearsal or anything. I was at my locker, and Chris came up and told me he couldn't find his keys. I ended up driving him tohis car and watched him realize the keys were still in the ignition and the car was on. And the door was locked. And I laughed really hard as I watched him break into his own car from the back and crawl in. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Also at my locker, Deborah decided to give me one of her pictures from art class and said she designed it JUST for my birthday (Though it took her a minute to decide which one she wanted to have been designed just for the event of my birthday). Haha..thanks Deborah...
I went to Dad's house, where he gave me presents. I got the 1st season of Gilmore Girls (YAY!!!!), driving gloves, Chicago dvd, and two cards. He also counted the assorted musicals he's bought me as gifts. He then took me out to eat, but we got there early, so we went to th Audi/BMW/Porche/VW dealership and marveled at cars. My favorites were the Audi convertible and the VW Bug Convertible inside. I sat in both. That was exciting. And then we test-drove an Audi. Also exciting. And then we ate dinner and Tuptim Thai. MMMMMmmmmmmmm
And then I rushed to Mom's to get ready for the Mads gig. Before I got ready, I listened to the Triplets sing me Happy Birthday (cha cha cha) over the phone. Then I opened the rest of my gifts from mom. My gifts from her were a bath scrubby, a shoe rack, gloves (haha...), and cute pajama pants and cami from Victoria's Secret.
I rushed off to the Mads gig to find the other Mads there confused and we figured we didn't have one afterall. Well, I came home and took a long shower...and then got Sam's message about how the concert was actually at another place. Oops. But I was sopping wet, and I figured that by the time I got ready again and got over there, I would miss it.
And that, everyone, was the day of my seventeenth birthday.
