marvel is barely that!
comic book geek out in 3 2 1...
so i read what marvel studios is having in the theaters next, and i have to say i'm very unimpressed. the avengers movie was surprisingly brilliant, esp mark ruffallo's hulk and the SPOILER ALERT: the intro of thanos in the next movie. (also bio-mechanical floating whale! hello). however i am apprehensive about the other projects. iron man 3? 2 was horrid, so i don't know how that's going to work. thor 2 should be ok, especially if they bring back destroyer(so great!) i have yet to see captian america, due to the fact that my own brain movie is most likely better, chris evens has already been something in the marvelverse canon(which i think shows a lack of imagination on marvel studios part), and i'm always a bit weary of how world war 2 is portrayed in kiddy blockbusters. but they're making another one, i'd only really be interested if they had bucky his plucky sideboy. aside from that they art making a hank pym/ant man movie as well as a blackwidow/hawkeye movie. dull. i don't get why they keep neglecting even more interesting characters for the sake of something already established. basically i'm just pissed that they have yet to do a black panther movie, i mean yes hank pym was one of the first avengers(which i assume they'll tie it all in even though he's never mentioned in the movie), but his story is hardly of interest. anyway, my rant has got off the rails, so i'll just shut up now....
