I miss Sundays
When I was younger Sundays were the most relaxing day of the week. Sometime since then Sundays have become the day to rush around and get everything done before another week starts. I think I will try harder to get more stuff done during the other 6 days of the week so I can take back my relaxing sundays.
Ok, today I got alot of stuff done. I finished my paper (which took longer than I had hoped), went to a meeting, cleaned my car (well not completely...but it's better), washed some clothes, and helped Brett pick up his place, and I'm about to go to another meeting. So...pretty good day.
Yesterday, Brett and I were at his house in Lafayette going through some of his old junk in his room and we found his old Nintendo! The original one. After fiddling with it for about an hour at 1:00 this morning when we got back to Baton Rouge, I finally got it to work. I played Mario for about 2 hours last night and some more this morning. I know everyone is obsessed with playstations and everything, but I'm sorry, it doesn't get any better than Mario on the original Nintendo.
One thing that really bothered me today... I watched the news and they were talking about a teenager who was arrested for raping a 92 year old woman in a nursing home! This really disturbed me...
Anyway, I think I will watch Friends to clear my head of that... Yuck!
