finally updating
Wow it's been a long time since I've written anything. For those of you who don't know I dropped my laptop a while back and broke it. So it has been crazy enough just trying to check my email let alone attempting to find the time to write in my LJ. Anyway as you have probably gathered I got a new computer! It's beeeeautiful! Thanks a bunch to Steven who helped me make it work. Of course I couldn't do it myself. I don't know why I even attempted. Well soooo much has been going on lately. Congratulations to ALL of my friends who are now engaged!!!!! Yes all. (6 actually! Can you believe it?!) Adrienne and Steven (Thank god for Hurricane parties), Ed and Amy, Rita and Chris, Abby and Travis, and cory and Brooks and of course Mandy and Brad who will be getting married in Jan. I wish each and every one of you the very best. Next summer will definitly be the summer for weddings.
Ok, now on to other things. Katie beth moved in and finally we have a full house again. it's been fun. Except that the day before she moved in I decided to clean the yard and got poison ivy. Very bad poison ivy. It's still bad but not nearly as bad as it was. That was the most miserable I had felt in a long time. But it's finally getting better except that I will have scars :-(
A week after Katie moved in we moved brett into his new apartment, which is very nice I must say. We also adopted two new kittens about a week ago. Rupert and Milo. Milo is the devil cat and poor little Rupert is very sick since he was abandoned by his mom when he was so little. But we're getting him back to health slowly and surely. He will be a big lazy fat cat in no time. Riley really surprised me when we introduced them. I thought he would try to play too rough but he actually has been very gentle and protective with them. It's actually kinda cute. Anyway, thats enough for now...
