My marriage is, in a word, wonderful. Katie and I resonate together. We have our difficulties, to be sure, but we face them together. She is patient in those areas that I have issues, and vice versa. Older? Older you say? You caught us relatively late at night after having a very full and busy weekend--at least for your dad--and me after an, ahem, blow up. Also after a glass of wine. Be grateful we had clothes on. And yes, we are getting older. Shock to us both, and a little on the frightening side.
That we are cool in your eyes is most excellent and gratifying. Aren't you glad now that we didn't drown you as a child? There were times, my boy, there were times...
