#1995 The good, the bad, and the ugly

Good:

The honeymoon was wonderful. We spent four days, five nights at a cabin in Burien, Washington, a small bedroom community south of Seattle. The cabin was amazing (wish I could move in, but that would cost around $6k a month... a bit too much for me!)
Seattle has changed drastically since I was there ten years ago. Even the nasty areas are up and coming now.

Katie and I had a lot of fun. We ate at Etta's, near Pike Place Market. Saw the Science Fiction museum and hall of fame. Saw the library.

There was other things, too, but I will leave those to your imagination!

We are going to move!

Bad:

My back seems to be getting worse. We seriously need a new bed and bed frame.

Katie and I had our first, well, run in, I guess would be the proper term. It boiled down to hurt feelings because of not enough sleep/coffee.

We are going to move...

Ugly:
I am reminded of a poem...

"When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out. " - Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984)

They are now doing airport style checks at bus stops in Indianapolis.

That's right. Warrantless searches are here in the Circle City.

How much will we stand, I wonder, before we have had enough?
