Dinosaurs exist!

So, I haven't posted a forrealz post on here in some time now, and I feel like my writing abilities have been lacking lately, as well as my command of the English language. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to get back into the habit of writing some stuff sometimes. A lot of people are so far away from my life right now it's all so crazy, and this is also maybe a good way to chronicle it all as it happens.

Finally pretty much settled in with Daniel, at his house, where we both now live. So that's pretty cool. A lot has happened since the days of constant livejournal posts...so here's a short summary:

As some of you on here may know if you actually followed my journal at all, I broke up with my first boyfriend once and for all around christmastime in 2007, although at the time I thought he would come to his senses and move down here to win me back. Obviously that didn't happen...

About three months after that, towards the end of March, my parents drop the bomb on me that they're moving to Las Vegas for my father to get a better job. This was a problem for me because I had just bought in December, was going to school full time, and I was only working at Hot Topic, just barely able to pay for my credit card bills, phone bill and car payment. So, I had to find a place to live, and fast, they compromised with me that if I stored all their stuff in my new place they would pay the rent. Lucky. At any rate, about a month after the nightmare of them leaving me with a house FULL of stuff to move by myself, and a crackhead uncle who was due out of jail and back to the old house any day, I finally got everything done and moved out and in and settled down.

I was doing fine by myself for about a month and I met a new guy, who was a genuinely nice guy, but we had differences and it only lasted for about three months. Your classic rebound guy. There was a very strange turn of events and long-story short, I ended up dating that guy's best friend after I broke up with him. Needless to say, they're no longer compadres. Which sucks, because no one ever means for that kind of thing to happen, but unfortunately in this case, it did.

So fastforward about 10 months, we can still stand each other's presence and I'm living with him in a house he owns. Oh, yeah, his name is Daniel, and he used to play bass in the band Farewell Verona. Pretty cool, farely well-known local band. I saw them once when I was in highschool which is kinda coincidental. I remember not particularly liking the band, but only because it was not my kind of music at the time.

We're both music majors at MCC, only I'm done at MCC after this past semester, in which I got straight A's despite the unearthly distress of having to move. I can now fumble my way around a guitar and piano, but nothing to write home about, or even to mention, really. Uhh...what else. As soon as I turn 24 and am able to get government financial aid again, I will probably continue my education at USF. Sadly, I'll still have to commute to the tampa campus because they don't offer music courses at the Sarasota one, such is life.

Together, Daniel and I are on a drive to acquire all 780 NES games that were ever made, so far, we've got about 200 I think. So we're on our way. Any donations to this cause are of course welcome. If you have a rare game you never play anymore, you should gift it to me =]

We may be throwing some sort of house-warming, house-reheating party as soon as the dust settles and we can clean it up haha, so be aware, if there is anyone reading this that I know in person.

I'm trying to think of anything I may have forgotten...But I don't think there is anything, as I've pretty much covered--briefly anyway--everything that has gone on in the past year and a half. I think everyone should try to rekindle the flame that used to be the livejournal community with me. Even though I may never post again after this. Who knows.

Lick my asshole, you bastards
