So, MAUS NOMI'S first birthday is days away, and he's been having insane bouts of bad health recently. He's been to the vet twice in the past month! First he has a fungal infection on his skin, and last night I put his first round of medicine on him, and then I went to wash my hands cause he peed on me, and I picked him up to put the other ointment on him, and he had developed this HUGE lump on his back within that maybe minute I was gone. WTF. So naturally I was alarmed, but then I reasoned that if it were something like cancer it wouldn't have developed so suddenly, and he wouldn't be acting normal. So I slept, and I took him to the vet this morning (just got back), and turns out it was just a cyst. The vet poked it with a syringe and drained it. Nomi squeaked so loud, I felt so bad for him. The vet didn't charge me anything. He's a very nice old man. Although, MAUS NOMI does NOT like him, the vet reached into the box to pick him up and he went freaking nuts. It happened the last time too, the vet just touched him and he ran up my arm and peed on my shoulder. Man, I felt so bad for him when the doc poked him. He seems fine now though, the cyst immediately was gone, and he's at home back in his house, checking things out to make sure nothing was disturbed while he was out.
