Sushi meetup: HARUKI CRANSTON, Sep 16, 7:00pm
Sorry about the late notice of the venue this month, but things were a bit hectic with the rescheduled date because of conflict with the Jewish High Holidays.
Haruki is one of the venerable Rhode Island sushi establishments, expanding from the original Cranston location we will be visiting this month, recently adding Haruki East in the Wayland Square neighborhood of Providence and the Haruki Express on College Hill. Unfortunately, the newer venues are now too small to accommodate our group, but I have been assured that we will fit at the newly remodeled but original Cranston location.

Directions:
Use either I-95 to Exit 14-B onto RI-37 westbound or I-295 to Exit 3-A onto RI-37 eastbound.
From RI-37, take Exit 2-A onto RI-2 (New London Avenue) southbound. Past the prison, take the left fork toward RI-5 (Oaklawn Avenue), and at the light turn left. Haruki will be on your left shortly after the turn.
The RIPTA 13 and 30 routes almost pass the restaurant, stopping where New London Ave (RI-2 north of Oaklawn Ave), Oaklawn Ave (RI-5), and Bald Hill Rd (RI-2 south of Oaklawn Ave) all meet.
This Meetup repeats on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
