Happy Thanksgiving, Kiddos!
On to hip happier news! I'm leaving the country for a week! A whole week... My folks and I are going to Florence. I'm all packed and we should be leaving for the airport any minute now. Just remember, when you think I've forgotten you in elle jai land, the last thing I did before leaving for the airport was to update. And grab my toothbrush.
Meanwhile, in the other room, my folks are bickering over what the TSA will allow them to bring and what they won't. Oy. I printed out the list for a reason.
Anywho, Carl and I have an apartment. We're waiting for the woman who's living there to move out then we can sign the lease and move in. I'm looking forward to it even if it is being ridiculously expensive.
I've been spending a lot of time behind the wheel in the last two weeks. Hopefully I'll have a test set up for the second week in December. I'm nervous about the whole thing. Eep. I guess, worst comes to worse I pay another $10 (to Maine this time) and get a new permit and end up with a ME lisence in two months. Very confusing.
Today, I got a haircut. Haven't had a full one since before the mohawk. The long part is all layered with the short part so hopefully it'll grow out a little better. It was looking pretty ratty.
