GASP! Math makes sense O_O

So... I was riding in the car yesterday with my mom on our way home from town, when all of a sudden I finally understood trigonomety. Suddenly sine, cosine, and tangent made sense. The sin(30) (degrees) is a constant number. Though it is opp/hyp, you will always get the same number because the ratios will stay the same (that is what I figured anyway, haven't actually "tested" it yet >_>). So when you multiply something by the sin(30) (I say degrees, cause there is also the sin of 30 radians), say for getting the y-component of a vector (such as I have been doing in physics class) it's kind of like taking the percentage of that vector. Though it's not an exact equivalent, the prinicple at least makes some sense.

And speaking of physics, I got my first test back today and I got a 95! I made a couple silly errors which is why I got points off. But I do know how to solve the problems, which is important. We only got an hour to take the test so I was a little pressed for time.
