So the other night I had the weirdest dreams… The first one involved Tora getting punched in the forehead by a man on a motorcycle. The second one was about Amanda becoming a Walnut Grovian, a resident of Walnut Grove. She was dressed up like the people on “Little House on the Prairie.” I saw her at Walmart with her “new best friend” which was a little girl from the show. They were looking for ingredients to make pie. I was jealous lol. The third was about me going to Camp Fear Factor, which was a cross between Fear Factor and Camp Horseshoe. One of my “challenges” was to make a sandwich…
Last night, I had a dream about a huge flood. Everyone had to come to my house, which is on a hill, but then the water came too close to our house, so everyone decided to go to Phoebe Buffet’s house instead. Yeah, it was weird. There were so many people that I actually recognized in that dream. Usually it’s just a bunch of blank faces. All of my friends were in it, and then a ton of people from high school were there also, even though I haven’t talked to some of them since graduation.
Before I went to bed the other night, I watched the news, which I never have time to do anymore. I saw that the Mason County Humane Society exploded! It was the saddest thing I have ever seen in my life. There was a woman trying to revive a cat. I cried. That was not a good thing to show, especially for animal-sensitive people such as myself. But at least some of the animals were saved. Still so sad… A brave news lady went into the fire and saved animals. What a hero!
I also found out that the world’s ugliest dog died at age 15. Seriously… That was a really ugly dog. But RIP Ugly one!
So yesterday, I went to my doctor’s appointment. I spent fifteen minutes in the waiting room, only for them to take 5 minutes to take my blood pressure, and then they made me sit in the exam room for another 45-55 minutes, only for the doctor to come in to talk to me for another 5! Not cool to do to a hungry girl…
Then, I went to Morgantown to do some Christmas shopping, even though I ended up buying NOTHING! I got to see my cousins Kayla and Marcie though, so that was a blast. We made idiots of ourselves in Goody’s lol. The cashier dude, Vince, was a cutie, so Marcie and Kayla were super hyper and goofy. He just laughed though. I’m pretty sure he thought we were all weird though lol. “I like these seatbelt things. They make me feel like a doggy!” “The cars can’t hurt you if walk really slow!” Just some funny things that Kayla and I said that I thought I would share :-). I would put quotes from Marcie, but she had difficulties speaking all day lol! Love you girls! We need to do that more often…
I was going to see a movie with them and their parents, my Uncle Joe and Aunt Sherry, but the roads were starting to get bad, so I had to come home.
My dad made me so mad last night. He woke me up SCREAMING as loud as he could at the dog. He is so selfish sometimes. He didn’t care that he woke up me, my mom, and the entire neighborhood up. Now guess what he’s doing. SLEEPING! Who didn’t get to sleep in this morning? ME! Grrr… My mom said she couldn’t sleep after that either.
So it’s Thanksgiving, and what better thing to do on this happy holiday, besides eat yourself fat, than to remember the things that you are thankful for. What is Elizabeth thankful for this year? I am thankful for (in no particular order):
*My health-Even though I spent over an hour and a half in the doctor’s office yesterday, it was worth it because there’s nothing wrong with me :-)!
*The snow last night was not as bad as expected-It usually gets super bad around here. Lots of wrecks and such.
*Speaking of which, snow and I have become friends again-I hated snow for a while, but now I must say I’m enjoying it so far!
*I got to see my family yesterday-Despite not having a real Thanksgiving meal with family this year, I am glad I got to spend the day with them, because I don’t get to that often. Plus, it was waaaay fun.
*Joaquin Phoenix-Those trailers of Walk the Line make me happy. I am so seeing that this week!
*All is well with the family-Only a little fighting between the parents, but everyone else is peachy!
*Finding a $5 dollar bill when I least expected it-I did laundry yesterday and found it in my pocket of my jeans! Woot!
*I will have a REALLY good meal tomorrow-Even though it’s not really Thanksgiving, I get to eat some tasty food at my Grandpa’s house. I love my aunt and mom’s cooking.
*My grandpa hasn’t been in the hospital in over 3 years now!-He used to go every year. He never took care of himself!
*My grandma hasn’t broken any bones lately!-That’s really an accomplishment for her. Poor lady.
*My sister comes home in December 2006!-Christina, Tom, and my wonderful nieces and nephew come back to the States for good, AND they are staying in WV with us for a few months!!! :-)
*My sister-We’ve become so much closer since I went to visit in May!
*My mom-Seriously, she’s the greatest. The End.
*Conan O’Brien-He made me laugh so last night.
*Back massages-They come to me very rarely, but when they do, they are very very much appreciated!
*Wonderful friends-Amanda and Tora are the bestest friends a girl could ask for. *Tear* lol Mimi is also the greatest because she’s stuck around me for like 9 years now! Whoa. And of course there’s my wonderful Kayla, who has been my best buddy since she was born! Lol That’s love yo. Tara, the most wonderfulest big in the whole wide world :-)! And of course, the best ladies on campus: the one and only Zetas… Also, all of the great people I've met this year, or those who I have grown closer too :-)
*My friends and the rest of my family are all healthy!-Thank God for that :-)
*I’m not a complete idiot-School is going much better than it ever has! I’m not doing as well as I want, but I’m still doing better than last semester! Woot!
*My neighborhood is safe-There has only been one crime in the last three years! Wow.
*I have become more dog-friendly this year-Random, but for a long time I was not fond of dogs because I held a grudge against my own dog. I have embraced the dogness this year, and I am proud to say that I like them again.
*People give me food… ALL the time-I think they feel bad that I have to eat Aladdin every day of my life.
*Cereal-The mention of Aladdin made me think of this because without it, I would starve at school (of course, without the above as well).
*The kids at Camp Horseshoe-One week with them changed my whole outlook on life. I hope all is well with them :-) I think about them a lot…
*Hoodies-I own two or three, but how they are handy in my cold cold house.
*Your mom-No explanation needed.
*Jack Johnson-He has become my new favorite singer over the last week. His newest CD is amazing. Plus, he’s a beautiful man.
*Love is the answer/At least to most of the questions in my heart-Jack Johnson is the man. And this is my new motto.
*My brother invited me to Thanksgiving dinner at Athena’s grandmother’s house-I’ve learned to forgive my brother for a few things, even though it’s hard. We get along. And that’s enough for now.
*I get to wear a pretty dress, correction-BEAUTIFUL dress, to my brother’s wedding-I get to order it over Christmas break :-)!!!!
*Wendy’s-They saved my life yesterday. I had only $3, and I hadn’t eaten anything ALL day. Who was there when I needed them? Dollar menu, baby.
*Bath and Body Works-Oh how I love their smelly stuff :-)
*Shopping with my mom-QT with the Mo is always a good thing.
*Dangly earrings-They’re just pretty :-)
*Mimi gets to go to Australia for a semester-Woot! Send me tons of pix!
*My cell phone- The cure of boredom. It has come in handy this week. CALL ME! Lol
*Spray and Wash Stain Stick-Saved my sweater from ketchup ruin yesterday!
*Okinawa is a safe place-While my sister is thousands of miles away, at least she is not living somewhere scary and full of war and such.
*Christmas is going to be awesome this year!-I can’t wait until everyone sees what I got them :-P I love giving presents!
*Only two more weeks of school-I think everyone is ready for the semester to be over. Horray for it always going by so fast right?!!
*The Donnas-Me, Finchers, and Manga. December 17th. Philly. Good times. Meeting the Donnas? Perhaps!!!
*Time to think everything over-Self-analysis is good sometimes :-). Besides that, I’ve got my priorities straight again.
