HAWAII
SURPRISE! trip to Hawaii!!! I was owed a trip to Hawaii as a graduation present and the timing just didn't work out with James's business trips and all the weddings we needed to go to in August and September.
Originally we were going to go for New Year's Eve, and watch the fireworks over Waikiki Beach but there's a problem with that.
James and I are trying one last time for a successful pregnancy. Every other time we've planned a trip, I became pregnant and subsequently miscarried the day before (or day of) said trip. I do not want my wonderful Hawaiian experiences tainted with sitting on a toilet and crying my eyes out and being bitter at the world and everyone else with a normal pregnancy. As there's the chance I could be pregnant by new years we figured might as well try and make a baby in Hawaii before the first set of my scans start up.
This was possibly TMI for the majority of my friends list, however I don't really care anymore. Being subtle with people doesn't work and at least if I throw out TMI they shut up out of shock instead of saying something hurtful or ridiculous.
