the grind.
let's review this past weekend: i worked. a whole lot.
friday started a stretch of 13 straight days of work here at clark and white, but then i get a nasty four day weekend to make up for it. if i play my cards right, i could collect another the weekend after thanksgiving; we'll see.
for all of this work?? so far i've done one deal. three fell through at the last minute, and currently i'm making calls trying to drum up some more. it's getting ridiculous, but if this new GSM cant turn this place around, no one can.
i was too tired to do anything this past weekend, and on both friday and saturday nights i was asleep by 9:30; last night i managed to stay up at least for a while and hang out with austin and ryan (spent the last three nights at austin's place, cutting my commute in the morning to about 10 minutes). going out with peter dicarlo (guy from work) tonight to watch MNF down at this local bar. i figure i'll stay till about halftime and then bail, although it's cool to get in with some guys here. i like that.
got offered a job selling software for an off-shoot of experian. sent my resume because there was no reason not to. who knows what'll happen, but i really do like it here at C and W.
i've had the most awful dreams for the past week...every profession i've ever thought i would engage in, save one, has been featured. i've died in every dream, and the visions are getting to be a bit much. i think i know what this is all telling me, and so i'm going to talk to gary and then make the decision i've put off for far too long.
i'm going back to school, and i'm going to get my masters in theology. say what you will.
