just got off the phone with a customer who was severely handicapped. He
needed us to change the installation date for his phone service. He
wanted me to make a note for the installer to wait at the door because
it takes him a long time to get there and he's had deliverymen and
whatnot leave cuz he didnt get there fast enough. He was so grateful
that I was helping him out and changing his order. I can imagine how
people can prolly brush him off. And i bet hes used to it. I'm so
thankful i have all my senses and mobility. I can imagine how
frustrating it can be. I express so much of myself through words it
would be a tragedy to me if i lost that. I mean jesus, I've had a
slight stutter since I was 5 because I can talk as fast as I wanna
speak. I cant imagine the pain of not being able to say "I love you". I
guess I could survive on writing...but damn.
So, speaking of things to be thankful for... I used to email out a list
of things that I was thankful for around thanksgiving. Havnt done it in
awhile. I think I will soon. I got it from my friend
Matthew
;who now actually has a baby girl to be thankful for. It's a pretty
good thing to do cuz it reminds you and other people really how much
good stuff there is when you think about it.
