Post-Sandy Check In
So bethbethbeth made me realize that yes, I do have an LJ account and it's been... *checks* eleven months since I last posted. Oops?
Just want to let everyone know that things are okay. I lucked out by not being in NYC -- I'm now living in Philadelphia for a short-term work/school assignment. Philly was supposed to be the eye of the storm but Sandy managed to avoid hitting us head-on. So not being in NYC was definitely a blessing, especially since I would have been working in Lower Manhattan where everything was and remains a mess.
I'm reading my backlog of posts and am glad to see so many other people checking in saying they're okay. Stay safe -- hugs to all!
