After all these seasons, I still think that giant Devil’s Trap of Colt’s is epic as all get out.
But after only a few episodes, I still don’t know what to make of all this Mother malarkey.

Love the playing with genres, especially the title card. Also, 48 hours earlier (150 years later) = lulz. Timey-whimey shenanigans double-shot, after the Booster episode of Smallville tonight! <3
One good thing out of the Campbell reveal…more resources. I love that Dean is geeking out just as hard, if not harder than Bobby and Sam.
DID DEAN JUST MAKE A REFERENCE TO THE VOYAGE HOME!?!?!? I HAVE NEVER WANTED A FICTIONAL CHARACTER TO MARRY ME BEFORE, BUT NOW I KNOW WHAT THE IMPULSE FEELS LIKE.
Dean is sad Cas doesn’t answer his call. Rachel does have a point that we were all sort of making, but she doesn’t have to be quite so smite-y about it. Cas’ quiet command, I am fangasming over here.

Has injured Cas forgotten human speech for a moment? I wonder what it says about him that his first instinct is to retreat to Bobby’s instead of Heaven to heal? What is the sigil he painted? It doesn’t look the way I remember the banishing sigils…

HOW DOES I SHOT FUTURE SLANG. (What the hell DOES “gank” even mean anyway? I thought meant “steal” since I see it all the time as “I ganked this meme from so-and-so”, but Sam and Dean have been using it as “kill” since season one.)

I like Samuel Colt. He sort of reminds me of Bobby.

I love how Bobby has absolutely no qualms about this. It’s a loooooooong way from where they started. It means Cas is part of the family, just in time for his “growing up fuck up”, just like the rest of Bobby’s Boys.
I’m glad the Phoenix had a good background. If it weren’t for the fact that he thought he needed the ashes, I think Dean might’ve left him alone. Also, Phoenix is smart enough to use human methods.
THAT ENTIRE HIGH NOON SEQUENCE WAS PERFECTLY EXECTUED. PROPS TO THE CINEMATOGRAPHERS.
I’m not so sure Cas meant to pull them back before they could get the ashes. Some people are speculating that he might have, but I think he would have put having Dean and Sam with him over any long-shot against Mother they might have. I do believe that at that moment Cas IS fried, no matter what power he may have culled from Bobby’s soul. A power surge like that has to be just as discombobulating as the drain of his wounds, and he may have pulled them back before he would loose his grip and come down from the high....
