Sirius exhaled loudly. “I need a trip to the forest, James.” He plopped down, pulled a plate, and moodily began loading it up.
“What happened?” James asked.
“I got detention just for looking at Snivelly,” Sirius huffed.
“The slimy git,” James scorned. “Did you even have your wand out?”
Sirius shrugged.
“Half way in the air?”
Sirius snorted into his chicken leg. James took this as ‘yes’.
“Fine, I’ll get detention with you,” James proposed cheerily. “What night?”
“How will you do that?” Sirius asked.
“Snivellus is around her somewhere, right?” James beamed.
Sirius's face slowly spread into a grin.
