Posting this in regards to last year's discussion about putting a lid on it while skiing:

Also, this tidbit popped out at me: "Many snow boarders and downhill skiers prefer the sound of music to the sound of their skis (though some ski instructors say that listening to music is a dangerous distraction)" For the record, I think it's a distraction too.
