Ironman 2
So has anyone not seen this yet? I'll keep it non-spoilery above the cut just in case, yes? OK.
Went to see this this past weekend, and had a fun time. It was fun and amusing with plenty of explosions for the pyro in me. (yes, I admit it freely lol) There was little to no plot beyond "bad guy want revenge, other bad guy want toy, good guy wins". So that was a bummer. But the acting was great - Robert Downey Jr. was his usual brilliant self, and Mickey Rourke was a fantastic villain. Liked Gwyneth Paltrow again, as well as the switch to Don Cheadle, and the intro to Scarlett Johansson's character was fun. Am ambivalent about Sam Rockwell's character. Not sure if it was the character I didn't like or just him. The tiny little post-credit blip was fun as well. Overall I had several "you know you're a geek when..." moments during the movie, but I enjoyed it. It was entertaining and that's what I wanted from it. If I had wanted something more scientifically accurate I would have watched the Science Channel. *snorts* 3.5/5 stars from me.
