it snowded!!
1. I love snow.
2. I do not love ice.
3. I especially do not love driving on ice.
4. I do, however, know that it is necessary to drive slowly and carefully, and that bridges are to be avoided if possible when ice is probable.
5. #4 is apparently not something known to some (*cough*many*cough*) people here.
6. #5 would be another reason #4 is a very very good idea.
7. The fact that it has snowed (yay!) and it is still below freezing and more than likely staying that way for the next couple of days? Is also a very very good reason to follow #4.
8. Snowball fights, however, would be rather a fun idea, if there were still enough snow on the ground in my area to get some good ones going without ice in them. Unfortunately I think I would have to drive a little further north to find a good place for them. Still, there is snow still on the ground and my car.
9. The roads are a mess, and so many schools/daycares are closed. I wonder how many people will actually make it in to work today, even if we are delayed...
