- SYTYCD results... can bite me. and that's all I have to say about that.
- Doctor Who 4.12 The Stolen Earth:
ok the beginning of this was kinda cool, seeing clips of everyone in their various places wondering wtf was going on. I actually wondered who was going to be in the credits at that point roflmfao. it was interesting to see how all of the Doctor's former companions (but not the new one yet) knew exactly who was coming at the first "Exterminate!" and their reactions to it - I kinda thought it was cool how only Rose was Ms. "Lock and Load", even Jack panicked (then again, that is how he died the first time). and dude, bringing back Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister, was brilliant. *snicker* I loved that part. and awww the Doctor finally got to see his Rose again but. but. w.t.f. I'm highly irritated at the "to be continued" especially since I've been soooo good about waiting for the broadcast from skiffy and now... I may need to look for pigeons. nice pigeons. pretty pigeons. *pets*
so pretty much everything under here contains spoilers for stuff, so consider yourself warned...
- SGA 5.03 Broken Ties:
I apologize right now that in an ep mostly about Ronon, most of my random thoughts are about Woolsey... yeah, I know. so yeah... wow. Ronon got broke. *sniffle* poor guy just can't catch a break with his old Satedan buddies. yay for redemption of Tyre though. yay we saw Kanaan for real! *snicker* yay for Teyla officially coming back to the team! and ok Woolsey as comic relief? *gigglefit* better than McKay, imho. *giggle* but seriously, the conference room doors had it against him? *snorts* why do I want to think that certain gene carriers set that one up, hmm? (and seriously, would someone write that fic if it hasn't already been written? roflmfao) also? he's more comfy in a suit and tie than in his uniform? I totally believe that. *cackles* and the scene with him and Torren. priceless. *gleeful* and at the same time, he's the same old cautious admin dude you really don't wanna like but kinda have to have a grudging respect for 'cause at least he's letting the team do what they do, he's just reminding them that they have to check with him first and make a good argument for it, as opposed to bullshitting their way through it. I'm really really liking him, a lot more than I thought I would. and not just 'cause he's also sharing comic relief duties with McKay. *snicker*
- X-Files: I Want to Believe:
ok so I had a free ticket thanks to Best Buy (only because I actually wanted one of the movies on the list that came with a free ticket, plus the movie was on sale, so hey, why not). thank goodness I had a free ticket. so yes, there was a psychic leading them around by the nose. and yes, I highly highly highly doubt that the kind of surgery that was going on would ever be actually viable EVER. so I suppose you could call those the "X-files type factors" of the movie. well, those and the obvious characters of Mulder, Scully, and even a little Skinner (though he only showed up near the end (also, is it sad that I almost typed in Caldwwell here even though I was obviously an X-files junkie way before I was an Atlantis fan? wtf)). the rest of the movie? typical crime drama. also, seriously people, they're living and sleeping together and still calling each other by their last names? seriously? *raises eyebrow* *rolls eyes* all in all, not a bad movie. bad X-files.
