thoughts on SYTYCD, x-posted from flicksnshows...
only two weeks left :(
Will and Courtney - I kinda like this pairing.
Samba - that was fun and pretty good. cool.
Hip Hop - sweet. I definitely like these two together. lmao Cat is so funny. ok Mary Murphy sucks at bluffing. *snicker*
Comfort solo - better than previous I suppose. (TEMPO-01)
Twitch and Katee - I LOVE THIS PAIRING SO MUCH.
Contemporary - That was my favorite dance of the year I think. whee!
Broadway - hee. ok that was amusing and fun. :)
Will solo - *gigglefit* wtf was that? *rewinds* still no clue wtf that was. roflmfao. amusing as hell though. (TEMPO -02)
Mark and Comfort - "Markie-arkie?" seriously? also, hip hop again? do I hear
Hip hop - cool lift over his head there. I'm not sure there's anything else I can say about it.
Foxtrot - huh. I liked it. not the best technique, a little slow, a bit out of synch in places, it seemed like they were almost being too careful with it. that said, I still liked it.
Katee solo - did anyone else think that was the same as last week? *shrugs* whatever. (TEMPO-03)
Joshua and Chelsie
Argentine Tango - someone needs to tell Chelsie to stop looking down at her feet during this dance. she did it last time she had this dance too. [I]constantly.[/I] and what is Nigel's fascination with Joshua's bum? yes, he has a rather nice one but wtf Nigel? but yes I agree with Mary that it was better this time around for Chelsie. but Mary give up the train. seriously. the train is ded. especially when that's the point at which my cable goes wonky. *snicker*
Disco - ok that was a cool lift where she switched positions in the air. but the rest of the choreography kinda sucks. I mean is it anything more than filling the time between the lifts? seriously, was it? personally I want more to a dance than lift after lift after lift with filler in between. so meh.
Mark solo - *purses lips* I liked Bohemian Rhapsody better. (TEMPO-04)
Chelsie solo - ok. so she has hips for Latin dancing. w00t. (can you feel the sarcasm? please tell me you can) (TEMPO-05)
Joshua solo - didn't use much of the stage, but that was kinda amusing (TEMPO-06)
Courtney solo - ok for me but not great. but then I'm not the best judge of the solos either. (TEMPO-07)
Twitch solo - all I can say is *snicker* (TEMPO-08)
am voting this week for: Will. multiple times. Twitch a couple times. and yes, i actually voted. =P
ETA: you know, we should make a drinking game out of this... drink for every pervy comment of Nigel's, for every attempted fake-out of Mary's, for every scream of Mary's, etc... *snicker* quick way to get drunk fast... rofl
