When things you enjoy piss the hell outta you... what do you do?

Prime example-- Fanfiction writing. If I had faith in my writing talent, it's now non-existent. I know I cannot write to save my life, and I am tired of aspiring to be better because I end up losing even more faith and getting worse. I feel there is always something holding me back, but now I am just throwing in the towel ( Read more... )

Just becuase your having a block doens;t mean you should throw in the towel yet. I still like your works. songmun still likes your works, as well as others. This isn;t the first time you;ve had a creative block, writing or art wise, and it'll fade in time.

and your art is wodnerful. everyone i show it too is ususaly floored. even my MOTHER, who was at one time a profrsssional artist, atteneded the art students league of NYC, and has years f training as an artist, says so. the only critiques she has is ususaly porportion stuff, and honestly, thats just an issue of keep practicing.

as for suppoprting stuff - the only things i actively support these days is our ecxoc and ocxoc stuff. since there are few toes to beginwith, its less likely you'll hit any.

foucusing on the negative doenst work. i tried that for years, but all thats gotten me is alota heartache and bad grades. thusly, stop thinking you suck, and you should stop sucking.

I hadn't been able to write anything for 3-4 months now. This is the longest writer's block I had.

hmmm, you shouldnt give up you know. People usually bitch other people because theyre either envious or they just dont have the guts to have such talent like you do (and i say--your works are cool, your creativity is great--so yeah >> YOU might have offended some people, but the point is you might have a logic reason on doing so) Giving up what you do best means you're letting em win. Um, that just my opinion, me gonna go now >>

Well, you already know how much I love all of your work. I don't really understand how you can say you've had writer's block for that long when you have done some good stories in that time, Toy Soldiers for example. And you know how much I love your artwork too. ^__^ Anyway, I won't bore you with anymore flattery since it seems a waste of time, but here's a little food for thought.
