I can't deciiiide!

When I went shopping with Rainar sometime ago, I couldn't really find anything that caught my eye. I rarely shop just because. The way I shop for clothes, I only do it when:
  1. I need more of an item (basics like camis/tees/etc)
  2. I need varieties of items that I don't already have (like coat styles for different occasions)
  3. I need a replacement for a worn out item
Usually, when I go to Forever21, I tend to be able to find something that strictly fits the rules above, unless I didn't intend to buy anything in the first place. However, I couldn't really find anything I liked at the time I went with Rainar. At the very end though, I DID end up finding a sweater style that I have wanted for a long time, except I was never able to find the "right one". I finally found it though! I tried it on at the store, and it was perfect! I really liked it! Unfortunately, the one sweater of that particular style that was at the store was an extremely worn-out return. I cleverly copied down the style number, so I was able to find it online. But I cannot, for the life of me, remember what color it was: black or gray. So I've been sitting here trying to decide. Take a peek and help? Other than that, I actually haven't really had an urge to shop lately. That, and I'm also gonna try to save more. Usually, I buy lunch when I'm at work, I've been bringing cooked lunch instead of eating out lately! So I'm quite proud of myself!

Anyway, I think I miiiiight start saving up for a new cell phone. I figure it's about time I get a new one. It's an investment that would be worth it since I take it with me everywhere and it's always on. My current cell phone is so ridiculously old. I've had it for years. I don't remember the exact model name, but it looks very similar to this one. I've had it for a few years now, but it's all scratched with the paint chipping off. And the buttons are breaking slowly; I have to press some of them really hard in order for them to work. It also randomly shuts off by itself, so I have to turn it back on. Plus, the sound cuts off a lot. People always hang up on me cause they think I hung up on them. Kind of annoying sometimes, especially when I'm in a rush. But even so, it's been a very reliable phone over the years. Super durable!

I was looking at new phones, and I kind of just fully realized how advanced they are now. I know I'll probably sound like a grandma for saying this, but I don't really know how to use the modern "new" cell phones. I mean, I'm sure with some exploring, I would be able to figure it out, but I'm just so used to my very old cell phone. Pretty much all it has is AIM, SMS, a very simple camera, games, and general phone stuff. And to be pretty honest, I am totally not a tech junkie; I'm not interested in any iPhones, PDA-imitations, etc. All I really use my phone for is an occasional SMS, calling, checking the time, calendar, and other general personal organization features. It sometimes overwhelms me when I play with my friends' iPhones and whatnot jammed with so much "stuff"--which I mean to refer to as features.

But yaa. Even though a friend just recommended me not to get this phone, I can't help it! I really like it. Really, really do. It has everything I need (and a little extra), and it looks SO DAMN CUTE. I'm not a super cell phone user, I don't text or call much at all, so a lot of what I'm looking for is something cute, yet functional. But can you blame me? Being stuck with a phone like this for years, all the while seeing everyone around me having such sleek, stylish phones starts getting just a liiittle bit depressing after some time. Just a little. All I was able to do to save such an outdated design was to glam it up with interesting cell phone charms.

Anyway, I'm still debating whether or not I should actually buy the new phone. I've actually been wanting to get a new cell phone for a while, but I've always held back because it'd be a luxury purchase since my current phone, although a little junky, is technically still functional. I have other, more important things to pay for. (Bills, school supplies/fees, and food! Just the norm!) We'll see how my finances for the next few months look though...
