Study Abroad to Taipei, Taiwan - NTU
Hello all,
I'm studying abroad to Taipei at the National Taiwan University for 9 months starting in September of this year.
I was wondering if anyone had attended that school before or had been to Taiwan, in general, and have some tips, advice, favorite spots, safety, food, etc.
Also, I am a non-strict vegan and a fairly strict vegetarian (although, in a global context, I am more concerned about not offending anyone, so I can be flexible). I have asked a Taiwanese friend about being vegetarian there and she said it's "totally possible and fairly easy". However, if anyone here has any experiences with that or speculations/suggestions, please let me know!
