Zhilbar lay on His altar, having managed to get most of it clean. There were people around, but they moved hectically, helping the cause of the war... That still HAD to be resolved.

He hoped Tyson got here soon.

She exited the portal and walked over to where Zhilbar was resting, she was in human form, but that could quickly be remidied.

"Hey." She wasn't sure what to say. After all, what exactly could she say.

[zhilbar]

He smiled a little. "Hello there. Please, take a load off." A gesture, and a seat was there for her.

she sat down in front of him, and leaned back in the chair. She smiled and asked, "Are you feeling better?"

[zhilbar]

"Seeing as I'm not a pile of body parts at the moment, Ty? A bit." He chuckled. "How about yourself? All systems in order?"

[darkdemonicwolf]

She shrugged, "Aside from getting chased in Vegas by some demons, I'm good."

[zhilbar]

He frowned. "That's a new one. Want any help with the cause?"

[darkdemonicwolf]

She grinned, "When you're better and we have a better idea on how to take them out. It's the Fates. Apparently they want their tool back."

[zhilbar]

And so He smiles.. viciously. "They might even see their own death coming. I'd quite like that, just to emphasize their futility. How enjoyable, to see them reach the end of their own lifethread.."

[darkdemonicwolf]

She nodded, "I'm sure they see the end coming. The demons they sent after me were immune to my powers. I was lucky to survive."

[zhilbar]

"That's a dangerous path to walk, Tyson. Hopefully you'll have friends around next..." He sighed, looked at her sadly.

"We should probably discuss what is between us, what it is to mean."

[darkdemonicwolf]

She stared at him, "I had friends. It's the reason I didn't die. Selene, King, and Logan helped me out. As for us, well that's up to you. You are the one that sees me as a completely separate person. The feelings that were had for you, they were my feelings. They've not changed. So the decision is in your court."

[zhilbar]

"..."

The dragon was silent for a moment, looking upon her with deep, sad eyes.

"I apologize, Tyson, for My puffery and foolish assuming. It's something that I do try to work at, hard though it may be to believe. As for our feelings.." He essayed a small smile. "What say we simply take it slow, and enjoy what time we have? You are changed, that is undeniable.. but I can tell that you're still the lady I love."

One of the things He loved most about Red was the way she stood up to him; after that time in the Torture Palace, He feared that was gone forever... Terribly glad that it wasn't.

She reached over and caressed his face, "If that's what you need then that's what we'll do."

[zhilbar]

A low rumble emerged from His gullet as He leaned into her caress a little. "Admittedly, that is indeed what I think the best course... No matter that it denies what soul-ease I could ever find in her..your arms. Still, might you be willing to spend some time together?"

She smiled at him and continued her caress, "I'd love to Zhilbar. I've missed you."

[zhilbar]

He started to curl up around her as He always liked, but winced and straightened again. "It's been far too long in My eyes, as well.."
