Question about kid migraines

Haven't seen any posts from anyone on here in awhile, so I'm not sure if anyone is still using LJ or if I'm just not getting friend updates anymore...

Anyway, I have a question for you moms who have kids with migraines. This morning before church, I was sitting with some of the kids and they were playing a game. Kate was trying to read a note when she said that she couldn't see it. There was a white/pink/green splotch in the middle of her vision and the letters were jumping around. It didn't last more than a minute and she didn't make a big deal of it.

About 20 minutes later, Kate came into my Sunday School classroom saying that she had a terrible headache, felt sick, and would I please take her home so she could take a nap. Kate never complains about anything and very rarely gets headaches. She would never volunteer to take a nap, either.

We came home, she took one Motrin, threw up, then took more Motrin before climbing into the tent she made under her loft bed as it's the darkest place available to sleep.

Between the vision thing, sudden onset, severity, nausea, and her eagerness to take a nap, I figure it's a migraine. I've only had a few in my lifetime, so I don't have much experience. I was going to take her to urgent care, but they don't open until 1. Do you think it's worthwhile to take her to the doctor? Could they do anything else for her? Anything you would suggest that I could do for her?
