I haven't posted in a while. Too much going on I guess, or maybe not enough? I don't know, it's hard to say...
I will say that I have been pretty content in my life lately. Thanks in small part to COVID restrictions, my personal finances are looking good. I have steady employment with no real chance of that ending any time soon. I'm healthy, or reasonably so. My doc gave me some crap about running out of my cholesterol meds and not coming in for a refill, but otherwise I'm good. I'm liking where we moved more and more, though we'll see how things hold up in the summer. So far it's a nice enough neighborhood, working class folks, good people when I've talked to them.
Politics across the country is still nuts, but I feel better now with an actual president in the whitehouse. I consider myself on the right side of the January 6th Capitol Insurrection. I was all for congress doing their job, and appalled at the mob assaulting our democratic process.
I'm still playing GTA a lot. They had a new update in December that intruduced a new, fairly easy, way to make money in game. Since then, I've amassed 24mil in game along with a winning car in every racing class. I'm still no good at the PVP nature of it, but the missions and racing are going really well. I've even won the casino podium car for the last 4 weeks running.
