My Bits & Pieces
The throat's going down faster than I thought. Hopefully it will get better tomorrow. Will try not to strain it.
The Aeron chair I ordered finally arrived today. Maybe this will put an end to my restlessness in the office. The office chair that was provided is way too small and uncomfortable for my liking, and the old one creaks too much. At $1,765, I have some friends screaming at me. It is an indulgence of some sort, but I hardly buy anything for myself, so I guess it's better getting something I like for myself instead of buying other people stuff. And I'm not going to spend a 5 figure sum on a bed or a sofa or something like someone I know.
I went to see a doctor to get some medicine for my throat, went to my neighbourhood GP clinic, was told that the regular doctor wasn't around. When I went in, I got a pleasant surprise. It was my JC schoolmate who I used to play soccer with. It's really a weird coincidence.
Watched Ep 3 of Survivor: China. Really enjoying the season, and was pretty pleased with the voting today, especially taking into context how this person behaved at the start of the game.
