a really quick update
so i have a presentation tomorrow and i have started... story of my life
how long has it been since i've updated?
1. miro came and left and called my pillow a rock. also, we watched the cusa show (which angelica wrote the script of), and it was the lamest dancing i've ever seen. it was really really cold. and we even went to a frat party at lambda and i got pretty tipsy and it was fun. and we got sushi before he left. yay!
2. i've been coming home really late every night because of munuc (which starts this THURSDAY)
3. i've been dancing more than ever - every monday i go from 6:30 to 11:30-ish
4. this past weekend i went to melting pot with excom and then went clubbing at a bar at elm & state afterwards. fondue really makes your clothes smell like food. clubbing... nobody even got tipsy (after three rounds of shots). andy "boytoy" rothe danced like no straight man could.
5. i went to the lab this sunday to start an experiment. it all came crashing down today when i broke my gel and it landed in the sink. i had to piece it back together like a puzzle.
6. i got into nyu's mstp program. mstp = mdphd, in case anyone was curious. snaps to swathi for being the only person to figure it out. 8 years in new york city with a tiny stipend! sounds like fun. and i'm going to nyc on feb 21-24 for nyu's revisit weekend :D
7. i really want to try to go out once a week (after model un is over). yay freedom!
8. booked tickets to guadalajara. it's official: i'm spring breaking in mexico.
9. kwok is coming over this coming weekend for med school interviews. crazy! really really want to see her again. yy? you up for it?
10. got rejected from stanford today. eh. was expecting it. 2 rejections, 3 acceptances, waiting for 7 more schools. i'm really thinking of withdrawing at a few places, but then maybe i would actually go there. also, i worked so hard for these acceptances!
11. pritzker sent me a scrub today. well, the top part. said that if i came in september i'd get the bottom part, too. cute. they are *so* good at selling themselves. where do you find people with this kind of imagination? but presents! yay!
12. i have such a craving for sushi. yummmmmm
