Kind of like NPR's
Weekend Edition (Saturday/Sunday) programs, only not so reliable, and definitely not as entertaining or as informative.
I found out this past Friday that I have been moved off of the NASA account for a few weeks and placed on a Raytheon account. However I am not so lucky to be on the Raytheon account in Massachusetts (which would be extremely nice, even if it was a bit of a drive), but instead I will be down in Dallas, Texas. All things considered, its not a bad deal, because I will be doing substantially more programming from what I have been told. It also sounds like I will be able to work remotely after this week, I'm not certain if this is the case or what, I will find out this week when I'm down there I suppose.
I'm flying into Dallas at around 5:30 or 6:30 EST I believe, and I will be back in Boston around 10:30 on Friday night. Hopefully there will be no complications with my flight, as I do not actually have confirmed seating on two of the four flights there and back.
I don't know what else to say, I'm looking at apartments in Boston right now, so we'll see what ends up happening with that. If I end up getting a studio, or two bedroom apartment I'm not exactly sure if I will be moving in until September, or if I will be moving in sooner--but its really a tough decision especially if I end up getting a studio as I will be trying to find someplace that I won't be spending too much money on given that I will be there only about 26 weeks out of the year.
Edit:
Given that I am in a "piratical" mood, I have decided to make good use of Rum & Monkey's "What kind of pirate are you?" meme. I am interested to find out. Every weekend I will probably do an update with this link in it, just for the halibut.
What kind of pirate am I? You decide!
