I don't know anything about the different formats other than PDF. Snark?

No, no, not snark at all! My iPhone has Stanza on it, see, and Stanza reads ePub, so though I don't usually read romance stuff, having an ePub version means I can download it in that format -- and if I'm clever, I can also type in the URL for it in the Stanza app and it'll download automagically.
