My eyes are half crossed from spending the last couple of hours cleaning up the BetterEULA.com mediawiki. Check the site logs for a little bit of what I've been doing, and I suspect this is only the tip of the iceberg. Once I installed the spam prevention measures -- in specific the ones recommended here -- I actually stopped having spam problems with the Gamewatch board entirely. I still get dozens of attempted registrations a day, but they all bounce, and I have yet to hear of anyone getting blocked.

And yeah, spaghetti code probably > spam. At least spam is relatively specific to clean out and isn't in the inner workings of the system fucking things up.

Indeed. And a large flat bluish thing that it is good to see every once in awhile.

It's really amazing how far PA has come since those days, in production value as well as style.
