This is an odd way of coming back from another minor hiatus, but as promised, it is now September (though well through) and I ( Read more... )

I probably just haven't been paying enough attention, but I feel like I'm leafing through pictures from a photo album of yours that are temporally spaced some distance apart, and catching minor hints that lots has happened in the interim. It's weird.

No, I'm sure a lot of that comes from how I post, and the minor hints with major things in between is pretty accurate. I just haven't had time to come in and do the laundry list of what's going on, so when I post it tends to be about a particular idea or something I think worth relating. I have a blog issue that way. The normal kinds of things most people post about I have trouble taking the time to justify posting, both for the readers' sake and mine.

glad to hear you landed safely. Moving is never fun, no matter where you're going to. Need to catch up with you soon. Or at least nudge you to read your email. ;)

Oh crap! I will reply to you this morning. I got that when I was down in DC with Kris and Pat, from my phone, and work was still flaring, so my mind was in six different places and I got back home and completely forgot. Sorry!

A long-time friend of mine works for Cingular, aka. AT&T. I'll pass on the praise.

Thanks, appreciate it. I actually heard from a couple of other people that they know people who work for Cingular and are passing the message along. The internet is amazing. ;)

ah, but my friend isn't staying. The whole AT&T megalith will probably destroy Cingular.

Hm, the AT&T merger happened quite awhile ago, didn't it, though? And the service from Cingular dramatically improved post-merger, enough that they took on the AT&T name recently in order to overcome a poor reputation associated with the Cingular name...?

YAWP! Heh. Not quite barbaric, though.

International moving must be a bitch of... er... international proportions.

But I hear they have good salad dressing there.

Well, I'm not actually across the border, still just (barely) south of it.

And yes, the salad dressing KICKS ASS.
