Can't sleep. Insomnia sucks.
I hit my three-year mark at DirecTV on Thursday. That means I now own the money in my 401(k) when I leave the company (which will be soon, I hope). That's a good thing. I've got to look into rolling it over into an IRA asap, since I don't really want to keep it in the company's program. Besides, with Murdoch probably buying us, I want out before the transition.
I'm planning on moving soon. My aim is to move back east, near D.C., to be near my son. With everything being so crazy in the world, I want to be near him even more. Not that I can do much to protect him, sadly - I guess eery parent goes through that realization. I just would have liked it to happen when there was less of a chance of all hell breaking loose.
And things sure don't look so hot right now. Enough to make anyone with common sense and the ability to think independently worry.
Ahhh, now I'm tired. To bed I go.
