Yuck fire. My throat really hurts and my eyes are all puffy. Of course, that's nothing compared to most of the people who's homes are burning and were forced or volunteered to evacuate. I can't believe there is a fire so close! It makes me so angry that it was arson!!! I think that arsonists should have their homes burned down. well, on second thought, they might enjoy that too much. So many people at our office have evacuated and are now living with friends.
i was driving to work today and trying to decide which was worse...fire or flood. First i thought fire because i think it's scarier but then...you can put out fires but not floods! I am listening to AM640 at work, just to follow along. I keep hoping that the winds will stop so that everyone can get the help they need, especially the people in San Diego. I've heard that the winds and high temps won't stop for a few more days. It's scary to think what will happen by then!
Yesterday, the power went out at work. I am SO not taking the elevators in the building this week. I also saw one of the most amazing sunrises. It's too bad it was all due to the smoke and fires.
