Today I'm going to see Harry Potter in IMAX. The last twenty minutes of the movie is in 3D. We bought our tickets ahead of time and got some plastic yellow glasses that we were during the last scenes. The last twenty minutes
is the battle scene with the death eaters and the order. I saw the movie in the regular movie theater last Friday. The battle is a couple chapters in the book and would most likely take up a large chunk of the movie if they left it in it's entirety. I was a little disappointed that some stuff got left out but they can't keep it all. It's much too long. I would have liked to see more Tom Riddle and Dumbledore and it would have been awesome to see their battle translated to the screen word for word.
I reserved my book today for Friday. Last time i didn't reserve my book and just got there around 11pm and milled around Boarders with Beth. There was even harry potter tattoos left for us! haha. Not so bad for not planning ahead. I am hoping I can roll in the same time and get my book. I don't want to wait so long in line. There is a Boarders at south coast that will start selling at midnight and that will be close to walk to from my apartment. I'm going to a wedding the next day in San Diego, I was hoping to read most of it that night but i don't want to fall asleep at the wedding. Maybe me and the other nine year olds can sit at the kids table with our harry potter book. I am a little worried about getting spoiled so i want to finish it asap then I think I'll read it slower the next time and savor it. haha now i sound truly strange.
