Jury Summons
I just got a jury summons from Oregon. Hahaha. Good times. Seriously though, I'm not doing it (obviously). Still, it's annoying, because apprently I have to write a letter to the judge and stuff. Oh, and this shit is due a week and a half ago, but I just got it, so I have to send it express mail, and hopefully will get it there before the trial. In my defense I just got it today. Even if I havn't checked my mail in a 4 days. Still, they should had gotten it here sooner.
For more fun, apparently I don't LEGALLY get a full deferment for Jury duty. Because I am just asking for it because I'm in school, I had to give a later date (within the year) for when I could do it, even though I don't even know if I'll be home this summer. This is retarded. My mom has only gotten two in her entire life, my dad never has (as far as my mom knows), and I get one within one year of being able to vote (give or a take a few months).
