1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
held two jobs while going to school full-time, been happy to be single, had a roommate
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i honestly don't remember the ones from last year, if i even made ones. I haven't made any for this year... unless you count my new "exploratory" attitude about alcohol, which is a semi-resolution.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no.. i almost lost Frank without knowing it, though.
5. What countries did you visit?
canada.. went to Vernon to visit friends i met online, and yes, i know that sounds bad.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a good relationship with a man, though at the end of 2005 i started developing one.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
having confidence in myself, holding two jobs while attending school

to be as introspective as i wanted to be

i had this horrible cold that started 18 april (i remember because of 4-20) that kept me in bed three days straight and had me really ill for about four weeks..

my fuzzy boots

i'm not really sure...

Bush, of course; sometimes my own; the US government and it's officials

rent, clothes/shoes, alcohol

a) happier or sadder?
hm.. a mix of both. i'm in a relationship = happier, i'm confused and have lots of decisions to make = stressed = sadder
b) thinner or fatter?
personally, i think i'm fatter, probably due to alcohol intake
c) richer or poorer?
richer, maybe..

studying japanese..

throwing myself into a relationship before fully knowing the person i was with

spent it with my mum, dad, grama allie, grandma and grandpa rewinkel, dennis, sherry, scott, lindsay, and sasha
21. Did you fall in love in 2005?
yes.. with two different men. and a marriage proposal. i'm horribly conflicted.. hence a little sadder (as stated above)

MXC or .. hm.. i didn't watch much tv at all
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
no.. i don't think so..
25. What was the best book you read?
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Believe it or not, it is one of the most sensual and sexually exciting books i've read, largely due to my finding comfort in Dagny's having three men in love with her and wanting to be with her forever.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
sigur ros, bright eyes, new pornographers
27. What did you want and get?
friends.. especially friends with whom i could share my 21st birthday
28. What did you want and not get?
revenge. haha! no.. seriously.. to find a way to be happy with myself, my decisions, and my attractions in the long-term.

charlie and the chocolate factory. crash really pushed my buttons and made me a more avid activist.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
kevin made dhal for us to eat, rian came to visit from hood river, and i got trashed. i turned 21.
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
having a higher metabolism :)

hm. comfy and eclectic.

poetry. venting. sleep.

i became impressed with mccain's efforts, though i wouldn't say i really like him.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
possible loss of Roe vs. Wade specifically and limits on women's rights in general

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
jealousy, anger, and mind games are pretty much worthless when it comes to the furthering of two person's understandings of one another. generally they get in the way of what is really happening and they are "inappropriate" or wrong to do or experience, so the real issue is ignored and the problem becomes worse.
