This blog is worth checking out if you fancy a laugh and are not offended too easily! I discovered it when Andy sent me a link to this entry on "Is Your Car Patriotic", and I got carried away reading entries on Israel v Lebanon and Linux v Microsoft. Thinking that surely this blog has to be a spoof (yanks surely couldn't be *that* polarised) - it was far too entertaining to be real - I embarked on a search to find the truth behind ShellyTheRepublican.com. Despite many people taking it seriously it is in fact, thankfully, a satire. As this disclaimer which used to exist on the site proves:

The purpose of this website is to point out political and societal injustice by exaggerating the viewpoint of the party the injustice originates from. It is good entertainment - if a bit overly offensive at times!! ;-)
