Pick Up Artist
I've been watching this show ("Pick Up Artist" on VH1, I think) because it was filmed in Austin - it's kind of cool to see some of the Austin landmarks. However, I find myself having to mute or fast forward through some parts of it, simply because they are so cringe-inducing. I don't like watching people embarrass themselves even if it is funny, and although some of the guys do seem like they're getting more comfortable with girls (I get the feeling there's a lot more 'teaching' going on behind the scenes than they are showing) some of the things they tell the guys to say to girls are really corny.
And don't get me started on "Mystery's" bizarre black fur pimp hat that he wears in every third scene :-o
It's also funny when the guy talk to the host as if he was a Buddhist monk imparting the secrets of the universe. Although, I guess the secret to getting girls would be like the secrets of the universe to a lot of guys.
